Period 1 – Winter Training (11 Weeks)

This year I’ve got to follow the plan (not just add up the hours like last year), so this first period is going to be about trying out as many of the training rides as possible, eating well, sleeping well, and being ready to confidently hit the first 3 weeks of Period 2.

Period 2 – Bristol Bikefest & La Marmotte

I’ll be using the Chris Eatough 12 Week Training Plan for 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race, to get me fit for the 12 hour solo Ritchey Bikefest, I’ll then maintain this fitness but focus on road skills for the La Marmotte Cyclosportive a month later. This will be the main training session for the year.
