Base Period 1 – Week 4

Plan

Week after illness, the plan is to take it easy, very easy. Sticking to the 3.5h target, achieved through a couple of days commuting.

Review

Well plan went out the window after just one very gentle ride. So will now wait until the chesty cough has gone completely before getting back out.

Red Bull Hill Chasers

So to keep things positive, here is a picture of the first ever Red Bull Hill Chasers that I took my 6 year old boy to, jolly good fun. He enjoyed it but we only made it as far as the semi’s before it was bed time. Still we managed to see that bloke of YouTube and everything!

Also finally got my skills session booked with Tony ‘Jedi’ Doyle for late March and got the Prophet serviced.

It had been raining all afternoon, and I got a bit cold in the office, but felt OK setting off. Possibly should have waited another day before riding again but work schedule means that will be Friday. Very foggy once up the hill.
